The Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) was established by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 1996. The standard aims to improve the coverage scope of statistical data available to the public view, and the quality of these data and their updates level, in addition to developing the information which the financial markets operations and the evaluation of economic policies in general depend on. The standards contains 22 indicators classified to four economic sectors which are: the real sector, the public finance sector, the financial sector, and the foreign sector. The data are published within prearranged dates. The mentioned publications are available to all users for viewing and usage according to their needs.
