About the Strategy

CBJ is launching the communication and identity strategy for JO-Fintech. This strategy aims to define JO-Fintech's position and identity (brand) as a roadmap in the field of fintech. Through this strategy, the CBJ seeks to enhance its vision, credibility, and engagement with stakeholders through clear, transparent, and consistent communication. Additionally, the strategy aims to shape perceptions and exert the right influence based on how the general audience receives and reacts to CBJ's position and role within the fintech and innovation ecosystem in Jordan.

This strategy functions as a key enabler for the fintech and innovation environment and as a crucial tool for CBJ to meet the primary needs in the fintech sector in Jordan. It aims to strike balance between fostering innovation, developing fintech, and protecting the market from undue risks by delivering clear messages about the CBJ’s stance on emerging innovations and desired objectives for the financial services sector. Moreover, it involves gathering information to proactively explore and understand the regulatory needs of innovators and respond to them whenever possible.

Objectives of the Strategy

  • Engage proactively with the market to ensure consistent, clear, and effective communication with all key stakeholders from financial institutions, Fintech providers, incubators, accelerators, and others.
  • Establish a communication framework that outlines the guiding principles for communication within the Fintech environment: stakeholder-focused communication, transparency and clarity, adaptability and innovation.
  • Provide a strategic approach that enhances market communication, making CBJ's activities and information in the Fintech sector more visible and accessible, while ensuring an approach that aligns with CBJ's resources in dealing with the market.
  • Offer communication guidelines for JoRegBox by providing a set of instructions for CBJ to respond to the market and requests in a timely and effective manner.
